Cambridge is a walker’s city famous for its architectural heritage and with more than 30 historic colleges there is a real sense of ‘living history’. Many visitors take the opportunity to punt on the River Cam which runs through the city. Elsewhere in the county there is beautiful countryside to explore including the Fens to the east.
